My blog assignment this week was to write about three people that inspire me. This is extremely difficult because I am blessed with so many inspiring people in my life!
However, the first person that popped into my head was my dad.
My dad is by far the most amazing man I have ever met. He is a phenomenal dad for my sister and I, husband for my mom, and role model for anyone that has the chance to meet him. My dad is always up for something fun, he hates seeing others sad or mad and will do anything to liven up the mood. He is THE MOST hilarious person I have ever met. He is also someone that I know I can talk to about anything. He doesn't judge or make people feel like they have done something wrong. I love my dad very much, and am so incredibly lucky to have him in my life, and I aspire to be like him everyday.
Another role model in my life, hand down, would be my sister. My sister is almost 2 years older than me, she is 18 years old, and my best friend. Whenever I am with my sister, we are laughing so hard our abs hurt! I don't know what I will do with out her next year when she leaves for college. Nicole is the smartest, funniest, and most down to earth person I know. She amazes me everyday by how smart she is.. really though, its freaky! Nicole and I are, and will be, best friends for ever. I am so incredibly blessed to have a sister like her. Nicole inspires me everyday, she makes me want to do better in school, work out and eat healthier (she's crazy healthy and fit) and most of all she teaches me not to care what others think about you. Do what you want, and be who you want to be.
I love you Colie :)
Last, but certainly not least, is my mother. My mom is like Superwoman, I know many people say that about their mom, but it's true... Mom's can do things that no one else can!! My mom, is amazing, she is always there for me, and keeps me on track. Some people are embarrassed about their moms, especially at our age, but not me!! My mom is cool, funny, beautiful and very fashionable (so I never have to tell her what she can and can't wear... she aways knows).
A couple days ago I had a bad ski accident while training for my high school ski team. I hit a race gate and had a bad fall. I broke some bones in my knee and had to have surgery the next day. My mom was there with my every second of it. She was there waiting for me when I came down with ski patrol, she slept in the very uncomfortable hospital chair to be with me and hasn't left my side . I cant walk right now, so she is having to do everything for me. God bless her!!!
Now you can all see why my mom is like Superwoman in disguise.
These people are very dear to me, and will always have a special place in my heart.
Thanks for reading!!!
